Privacy Policy

This policy describes the intended handling of Google user data by Hermes Siu Yik Calendar, an owner-operated desktop integration. The public website at https://hermes-calendar.cecinyin.com provides information only; it does not perform Google sign-in or receive Google Calendar events or OAuth credentials.

Data accessed and purpose

If the owner connects a Google account, the integration requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events. That scope can access event details, including titles, times, descriptions, locations, and attendees, and can create, change, or delete events. The integration uses this access to carry out the owner's calendar requests. It does not request Gmail, Google Drive, or Google Tasks data.

Processing and sharing

Calendar requests are sent to Google's Calendar API. If the owner includes event details in a Hermes AI conversation, relevant details may also be processed by the AI model provider selected in the owner's Hermes configuration. The integration is not intended to sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated parties.

Storage and retention

OAuth credentials and any local copies of event details, conversation history, or diagnostic logs are handled by the owner's local Hermes installation and its configuration. They are not stored by this public information website. Google Calendar remains the system of record for calendar events. The owner controls local retention through the Hermes installation and can revoke the app's Google access from their Google Account permissions.

Website delivery

Cloudflare delivers this public information website and may process technical request data, such as IP address and request metadata, for delivery and security. This website does not set its own analytics or advertising cookies.

Owner controls and contact

The owner can stop using the integration, remove locally stored credentials and data, and revoke its Google access. For questions about this policy or deletion, contact siuyik.assistant@gmail.com.
